Snow Days????

by Chris Murgo & lots of other Helpdeskers:

For some students, snow days are a great break from school and the work that comes with it. Snow days can also be a pain since they are days that have to made up and eat into summer vacation. It seems that this year, in particular, snow days have been causing a problem in some districts, causing them to rethink what we should all be doing when stuck at home. Some schools are thinking of implementing virtual schools so that students and teachers can do work from home during inclement weather.

What do you think about this?

This is what our Helpdesk students think about having to do school work on snow days:

Here are some great articles we found on this subject:

The BIG MSMS iMovie Project...Coming Soon

Review by Jason, Antonio and Adam:

The Follet Challenge
The follet challenge is something new that the helpdesk decided to take on this year. It was an interesting endeavor and we had a lot of fun doing it. It took some hard work and many, many bloopers, but with the help of everyone we were able to pull it off. We filmed the video in little skits and put them all together with some editing. In the video we showed how technology helped changes zombie student into normal students. Sort of showing how we were bored and technology livened things up.Though the video sounds boring we were able to make it pretty funny. The videos included boring math games into a fun math game on the ipad. It was really fun to make and we hope you enjoy it.
