Erin and Savni Review the 3Doodler!

Have you ever wanted your drawings to come to life? Did you ever want them to just jump off of the page? Well in 2015, it's more than just a forgotten idea. It's reality. How, you might ask? Meet the 3Doodler. It's the world's first 3D printing pen!

The 3Doodler squeezes out heated plastic strands that quickly turn into sturdy solids as they cool. Not only is it fast and fun to use, it's also easy to carry around everywhere you go.

With this new product, your imagination can shine. The 3Doodler is able to make just about anything from paper clips and mini Eiffel Towers to dresses and blueprints. Currently, the pen costs roughly around $100, which is much less than a real 3D printer. Although it needs electricity to work, the 3Doodler creates accurate and clean designs that turn out to look spectacular.

Sean's Review of Smule Piano App

Smule: Magic Piano

Smule is a great application for music class for all ages. For me it’s a very good app considering I’m learning about pianos in music. It is great for learning about pianos and how to play pianos it is a very fun application and great for kids. If you want an easy way to learn how to play the piano go with smule, it’ll sound the same and why go through the hassle of paying for a piano when smule is free?

Noel's Music App Review

Noel reviewed SoundCell and SoundPrism on the iPad.

SoundCell is more of an app to make rhythms and goof around with music. It costs $1- it's worth it to buy but not necessarily educational.

SoundPrism can be used to record as well as to change/modify sounds and hear specific notes, so it can be used for education purposes. Plus it's FREE, so that's an added bonus. If you want to change the sound on this app, you can use multiple fingers instead of just playing 1 note. Noel would recommend this app for an advanced level music class.

Jillian's Kahoot Review is a great learning application for students with any backround (age, grade, or gender). This is an amazing game to play with your students to either review information or learn new materials. Like all things on the internet these days there are many flaws like Kahoot can be very delayed and if you refresh the page in the middle of the game you will be kicked out of the server with no way to get back to your original position.
