Rachad Created a New Logo

Study Blue vs Cram by Suleikha and Sarah

StoryboardThat Review by Bella, Chloe and Christian

StoryboardThat is a digital comic maker. It allows users to create and imagine new things for projects, and presentations. On this website you can pick a scene to put in one of the spaces that holds the comics. The user can add a wide variety of characters, speech bubbles, shapes, transportation, scenes, and social media logos. In characters there are several sections including Adults, Teens, Kids, Jobs, Sports, Greek Mythology, Culture, 1900’s, 1600’s-1800’s, Medieval, Classic Era, Monsters and Myths, and Silhouettes. For speech bubbles you can use the common shapes. In the scenes tabs you can pick from Home(indoor), Home (outdoor), School, Athletics, Work, Classical Homes, Historical, US History, and Country & Rustic. You can also add shapes and download things from the internet. You can edit your character’s colors and adjust their position and hand gestures. The user can drag and drop images to create a digital project and share it with teachers or other students.

StoryboardThat is a good website for making projects and comics, but it glitches and can be very slow. If the website was not as slow or if the glitches were fixed, this website would be a lot better.

Oculus vs. Google Cardboard by Gili and Jonathan

Virtual Reality is an amazing experience because it feels like you're actually there. Virtual reality is much better when you have people or friends next to you to talk or discuss to. The Oculus Virtual Reality is compatible with Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge. There are many variations of this product, there is the Oculus that is compatible with a computer, and the other is compatible with a phone. The Oculus comes in 2 different colors. You can get black, or white.

The Night Cafe- It was a fantastic experience. I loved seeing the painting of Leonardo Da Vinci come to life. The way Leonardo Da Vinci made his painting helped the 3D artists make this an exciting adventure.

Jurassic World- It was a heart racing experience where you thought the dinosaur would eat me or crush me. It seemed real.

Google Cardboard:

The google cardboard is a fun and inexpensive virtual reality. The google cardboard will fit any phone. To use the cardboard you can simply go online or onto youtube and look up the video you would like. When you insert the phone the phone will read a scanner on the cardboard and being you to a website. The Cardboard is a good alternative for schools to learn and be in the virtual reality. There are some apps you can be in the kaaba, or in a science lab. Overall the cardboard is a good idea for schools and individuals to have.

Oculus VR:
Google Cardboard:
Made with metal and other electronic components.
Made from cardboard and magnifying glasses.
You can buy apps off the oculus website and rent apps from a service provider.
Works with any YouTube video and the gold cardboard app
Very clear. There is a crank to get the phone closer or farther away to enhance your vision with the app.
Clear with specific apps but blurrier than the Oculus VR
Assembly and Installation
To assemble the oculus you have to download an app and insert your phone into the slot provided.
To assemble the cardboard is somewhat difficult. You will have the stick glue to a certain spot and fold on the dotted lines. To install your phone just put it on the suction cups and watch your video.
Phones it works with
The phones the oculus works with are Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge
works with any phone depends if fits the right size. Includes any iPhone/samsung, but doesn't work well with LG
